Why earthquakes?
We focus on earthquakes because the Pacific Northwest is expecting a rupture of the Cascadia Subuction Zone fault. It will produce a M8.0-9.5 earthquake off the coast and impact the entire region. The work we do helps us prepare schools for many types of disasters, including flood, fire, and other impacts from the climate crisis.

There are many ways to participate. Use the resources on our website, attend our in-person meetings (in Portland), or join our online community. We welcome you to engage in any way that you find useful. It's completely free, and there are no obligations whatsoever.
